Ambitious Solen Queen

The Ambitious Solen Queen quest is a two-part repeatable quest given by an ambitious Solen Queen who aspires to become the next Matriarch of her colony. She needs you to eliminate her rival queens and gather zoogi fungus so she can practice producing powder of translocation. The quest exists in both Red and Black Solen variants depending on which colony's queen you speak with.

Overview

Deep within the Solen Hive, an ambitious queen has her eyes on the throne. She plans to become the next Matriarch by eliminating the competition — her sister queens — and mastering the production of powder of translocation. She's willing to outsource the dirty work to you in exchange for a Bag of Sending, Powder of Translocation, and gold.

The quest has two phases: first kill rival queens, then gather zoogi fungus. The version of the quest (Red or Black Solen) is determined by which queen you speak with, and this affects which queens count as valid kills.

Getting Started

Enter the Solen Hive and locate an Ambitious Solen Queen. There are both Red and Black Solen versions — the quest mechanics are identical, but the target creatures differ based on which colony you're working for.

Note|If you already have another quest active, the queen will turn you away and ask you to return when you've finished your current task.

Quest Walkthrough

Phase 1: Kill the Rival Queens

Objective	Slay 5 Solen Queens from the same colony as the ambitious queen you're helping
Valid Targets	Red Solen Queens (if working for a Red queen) or Black Solen Queens (if working for a Black queen)
Do NOT Count	Queens from the other colony, Infiltrator Queens

The ambitious queen explains that she needs you to remove 5 of her rival sister queens — the competition for the Matriarch title. She's very specific about which kills count:

• Only queens from her own colony count. If you're helping a Red Solen Queen, you must kill Red Solen Queens. Black Solen Queens won't count, and vice versa.
• Infiltrator queens do not count. The queen dismisses them as spies who serve a necessary but lesser purpose.

Your quest log tracks your progress (e.g. "Red Solen Queens killed: 3 / 5"). Once you've slain all 5, return to the ambitious queen.

Phase 2: Gather Zoogi Fungus

Objective	Gather 50 Zoogi Fungus and give them to the ambitious queen

After congratulating you on reducing her competition, the queen asks you to gather 50 zoogi fungus so she can practice processing it into powder of translocation. Zoogi fungus is found throughout the Solen Hive — harvest it from fungus patches on the ground.

Once you have 50, return to the ambitious queen and hand them to her (drag and drop onto her) to complete this phase.

Rewards

Upon delivering the zoogi fungus, the queen gives you three rewards:

Bag of Sending	A magical bag that can send items directly to your bank box
Powder of Translocation	10–12 charges of powder, used for various magical transportation purposes
Gold	250–350 gold pieces

If your backpack is too full to hold any of the rewards, the queen will ask you to free up some space and return. She'll give you any remaining rewards on your next visit.

Note|This quest is immediately repeatable — you can accept it again from the same queen right after completing it. It's a reliable way to farm Bags of Sending and Powder of Translocation.

Tips

• Know your colony. Pay attention to whether you're working for a Red or Black queen. Killing queens from the wrong colony wastes time and won't count.
• Skip the infiltrators. Infiltrator queens look similar but are a different creature type. They do not count toward the objective.
• Stock up on zoogi fungus. If you plan to repeat the quest, gather extra fungus while you're in the hive so you're ready for Phase 2 immediately.
• Make backpack space before turning in the fungus. The quest tries to give you three separate items — if any fail due to a full pack, you'll need an extra trip back.
• Repeatable for Bags of Sending — since there's no cooldown, this is one of the most reliable sources of Bags of Sending in the game.

Quest Flow Summary

1. Enter the Solen Hive and speak to an Ambitious Solen Queen (Red or Black)
2. Accept the quest
3. Slay 5 Solen Queens from the same colony (not infiltrators, not the other colony)
4. Return to the ambitious queen
5. Gather 50 Zoogi Fungus
6. Give the fungus to the ambitious queen
7. Receive rewards: Bag of Sending + Powder of Translocation + Gold
8. (Optional) Repeat immediately
