Clean Up Britannia

Clean Up Britannia is a recycling and reward system that lets you turn unwanted items into points, which can then be spent on exclusive rewards. Think of it as getting paid to take out the trash.

This system runs year round and can be accessed at any time.

How It Works

You toss items into a special Trash Barrel placed in your house. Each item is worth a certain number of cleanup points based on its type and properties. Once you've accumulated enough points, visit The Cleanup Officer to browse and purchase rewards.

There is also a trash barrel next to the clean up officer in mainstreet.

The Cleanup Officer

The Cleanup Officer is located on Main Street, next to the bank and the provisioner. Double-click him to open the reward shop, where you can spend your accumulated points.

Trash Barrels

Placing a Barrel

Stand inside your house and say:

I wish to place a trash barrel

Each house is limited to one trash barrel.

Using the Barrel

Drop items into the barrel to convert them into cleanup points. Not all items are worth the same amount — magical items, artifacts, and higher-end gear tend to be worth more.

Appraising Items

Before you commit to trashing something, you can check how many points it's worth. Single-click the trash barrel and select Appraise for Cleanup from the context menu. This lets you see the point value of items without destroying them.

Removing a Barrel

If you want to remove your trash barrel, hit it with an axe.

Point Exchange

The Cleanup Point Exchange Stone allows you to deposit your cleanup points into an account-wide pool, or withdraw them back to a character. This is useful for consolidating points earned across multiple characters on the same account.

  • Deposit Points — Moves your current character's points into the shared exchange.
  • Withdraw Points — Pulls points from the exchange back to your current character.

Tips

  • Farm cleanup points passively by tossing loot you'd normally leave on corpses.
  • Use the Appraise option before trashing anything — some items are worth more to players than their cleanup point value.
  • The Point Exchange is account-wide, so you can pool points from all your characters toward expensive rewards.
  • Scrolls of Alacrity are assigned a random skill when purchased, so you may need to buy several to get the one you want.
