Daily Rares
Daily Rares are special decorative items that spawn each day when the Banes World server restarts or undergoes maintenance. Unlike stealable items (which require Stealing skill to obtain), Daily Rares require no special skill — only the initiative to be the first player to reach them after a restart.
Although Daily Rares are sometimes grouped with stealable items on external UO resource sites, this classification is misleading. Any player can pick them up freely. Speed and knowledge of their locations are your only advantages.
Custom Banes World Daily Rares are marked with Banes World Daily Rare, indicating they are unique to our shard.

How They Work
- Daily Rares spawn at fixed locations on the world map each time the server starts up.
- They are first-come, first-served — once a player picks one up, it is gone until the next restart.
- No Stealing skill, lockpicking, or special ability is needed.
- Rares are placed with a movement lock that prevents them from decaying naturally, ensuring they remain in place until claimed.

Tips
- Watch the announcement channel — server restarts are typically announced ahead of time, giving you a chance to pre-position near a target rare.
- Recall or Gate to your target location immediately after the server comes back online to beat other players to the spawn.
- Mirrored spawns (Felucca/Trammel) effectively double your chances on contested rares — if the Trammel version is taken, check Felucca and vice versa.
- Daily Rares have no intrinsic stats or combat use; their value is entirely decorative and collectible. Many players display them in their homes.
- Rares left unclaimed do not persist indefinitely — they will be reset at the next server restart regardless.
