Hue Room
The Hue Room is a dedicated dyeing facility where players can preview and apply over 3,000 color hues to their equipment, clothing, and pets. The room is accessible through the Portal under the Favorites section.
Inside you will find rows of labeled dye tubs — one for every hue from 0 to 3000. An Ethereal Mount Dye Tub is also located in the corner of the room for recoloring ethereal mounts.
How It Works
Each tub in the Hue Room displays its hue number as a label so you can browse colors visually. When you find a color you like, simply double-click that tub to begin the dyeing process.
Dyeing Items
- Walk through the Hue Room and find the color you want. Each tub is labeled with its hue number.
- Double-click the dye tub.
- You will be prompted: "Target an item you are wearing or carrying, or a pet you control."
- Click the item you wish to dye. It must be in your backpack or equipped on your character.
- A confirmation window will appear showing the old hue and new hue, along with the cost.
- Click Accept to confirm, or Decline to cancel. If you decline, the item's original color is restored immediately.

Dyeing Pets
The same dye tubs can recolor tamed creatures you control.
- Double-click the dye tub with the color you want.
- Target your pet.
- Confirm the dye in the confirmation window. If you decline, your pet's original color is restored.
You must be the pet's control master. The cost is the same 10,000 gold from your bank.
Ethereal Mount Dye Tub
The Ethereal Mount Dye Tub is a special tub located in the corner of the Hue Room. It is used exclusively for recoloring ethereal mounts and works slightly differently from the standard tubs.
How to Use
- Place the ethereal mount statuette you wish to dye into your backpack.
- Browse the Hue Room and note the hue number of the color you want.
- Walk to the Ethereal Mount Dye Tub in the corner of the room and double-click it.
- Target the ethereal mount statuette in your backpack.
- A window will open with a text field — type the hue number you noted earlier.
- Click Apply Dye to confirm, or Cancel to abort.
The mount's statue form, transparent mounted form, and non-transparent mounted form are all updated to the new color, so the hue will display correctly whether the mount is in your pack or being ridden.

Tips
- Preview before you pay. The standard dye tubs apply the color to your item immediately so you can see it, but the gold is not withdrawn until you click Accept. Declining restores the original hue at no cost.
- Write down your favorites. If you find a hue you love, note the number so you can return to it later — especially useful for the Ethereal Mount Dye Tub, which requires you to type the number in manually.
- Make sure you have gold banked. Both tubs withdraw from your bank box. If you don't have at least 10,000 gold banked, the dye will not go through.
