The Ter Mur Tiered Quests are a set of repeatable quests offered by three NPCs in Ter Mur. The quests use a tier progression system — you must complete quests from a lower tier before higher-tier quests become available. Percolem offers hunting bounties with escalating difficulty, while Thepem and Zosilem run an alchemy shop where you trade specialty ingredients for useful consumables and elixirs.

All tiered quests are repeatable on a cooldown timer after completion.

How the Tier System Works

Each questgiver tracks your progress through their quest tiers independently. You must complete one or more quests from the current tier before the next tier's quests unlock. The NPCs will only offer you quests appropriate to your current tier.

The progression flows as follows:

  • Percolem the Hunter: Tier 1 → Tier 2 → Tier 3 (hunting quests with increasingly dangerous targets)
  • ThepemZosilem: Thepem's quests serve as the entry tier; completing them unlocks Zosilem's more advanced alchemy quests

Percolem offers hunting bounties that require you to slay specific Ter Mur creatures. Each tier targets tougher creatures and rewards a better backpack.

Completing Thepem's quests builds your reputation as a customer, eventually unlocking Zosilem's advanced offerings.

Metal Conversion Progression

The metal conversion elixirs follow a clear upgrade path through the tiers:

Tier Quest Elixir Converts From Converts To
Thepem All That Glitters Elixir of Gold Conversion Dull Copper Gold
Thepem Metal Head Elixir of Metal Conversion Iron Random lesser colored metal
Thepem Pink Is the New Black Elixir of Agapite Conversion Shadow Iron Agapite
Zosilem To Turn Base Metal into Verite Elixir of Verite Conversion Copper Verite
Zosilem Pure Valorite Elixir of Valorite Conversion Bronze Valorite

This provides an efficient way for miners and smiths to upgrade large quantities of lower-tier metals into more valuable types.

Pet Treat Progression

Similarly, the pet treats upgrade through the tiers:

Tier Quest Treat Buff Strength
Thepem Tasty Treats Tasty Treat Standard
Zosilem Dabbling on the Dark Side Deliciously Tasty Treat (x2) Enhanced
Zosilem The Forbidden Fruit Irresistibly Tasty Treat Maximum

Tamers should work through the pet treat progression to access the strongest temporary buffs for their pets.

Tips

  • Inspect your ingots first. For all metal conversion quests, you must hand the ingots to the NPC for inspection as a separate step before completing the quest. Don't try to turn everything in at once.
  • Boura Skin is a common ingredient — it appears in Tasty Treats, Dabbling on the Dark Side, Armor Up, and The Forbidden Fruit. Farm Boura in bulk if you plan to do multiple quests.
  • Percolem's Boura, Boura quest is randomized — you'll be assigned either 15 Lowland Boura or 20 Ruddy Boura each time. The Lowland Boura variant is slightly easier due to the lower kill count.
  • All quests are repeatable on a cooldown timer. Plan your ingredient farming around which quests you want to cycle through regularly.
  • Tier 3 Percolem targets (Putrid Undead Gargoyles, Maddening Horrors, Dream Wraiths) are significantly more dangerous than Tier 1 and 2 creatures. Bring appropriate gear and supplies.
  • Dusty Backpacks from Percolem's quests scale in quality with each tier — Adventurer's (Tier 1), Explorer's (Tier 2), and Hunter's (Tier 3). Open them for randomized loot appropriate to the tier.
