La Insep Om, commonly known as the Quest of Singularity, is a knowledge-based quest at the Shrine of Singularity in Ter Mur. Rather than combat or gathering, this quest tests your understanding of the Gargoyle philosophy found in the Book of Circles. Completing it grants your character permanent entry to the Stygian Abyss dungeon — the guardians at the entrance will no longer bar your way.
Prerequisites
Before attempting the quest, read the Book of Circles and the Shrine Mantra found near the Shrine of Singularity (at coordinates 1000, 3991 and 994, 3991 respectively). The Book of Circles contains the Gargoyle system of Principles and Virtues that every question in the quiz draws from. Studying it beforehand is essential — or you can use the answer key provided below.
Starting the Quest
Stand within 2 tiles of the Shrine of Singularity and say "unorus" (the mantra of Singularity). If you have not yet begun the quest, a quest offer gump will appear. Accept it to enter a state of enlightened meditation and begin the quiz.
If you have already earned Abyss entry, saying the mantra will instead give you the message: "You enter a state of peaceful contemplation, focusing on the meaning of Singularity."
Quest Walkthrough
Answer 4 Questions Correctly
The quest presents you with 4 questions chosen at random from a pool of 20, drawn from the teachings in the Book of Circles. Each question is multiple choice. You must answer all 4 correctly to pass.
If you answer any question wrong: The quest fails immediately. You receive the message: "You realize that is not the correct answer. You vow to study the Book of Circles again so that you might understand all that is required of you." A 2-hour cooldown is applied before you can attempt the quiz again.
If you answer all 4 correctly: A wave of energy washes over you with a dramatic visual and sound effect. You are told: "You are absolutely certain that the guardians will no longer bar you from entering the Stygian Abyss." Your character permanently gains Abyss entry.

Quick Reference: The Gargoyle Circle
Understanding the underlying system makes the questions intuitive rather than rote memorization:
Three Principles: Control, Passion, Diligence
Virtues derived from single Principles:
- Control → Direction
- Passion → Feeling
- Diligence → Persistence
Virtues derived from combining two Principles:
- Control + Passion → Balance
- Passion + Diligence → Achievement
- Diligence + Control → Precision
From the absence of all Principles: Chaos → which points to the Virtue of Order
From the unity of all three Principles: Singularity — the first Virtue, the eighth Virtue, and the Virtue in which all Principles and Virtues can be found
Key facts: All Virtues are equal. All Principles are equal. The Circle has no end. Gargoyle society continues forever.

Tips
- This is a one-time quest — once completed, it cannot (and does not need to) be repeated.
- If you fail, there is a 2-hour cooldown before you can try again. Use the time to re-read the Book of Circles.
- Only 4 out of 20 questions are asked each attempt. The selection is random, so you may get different questions each time.
- The question about Achievement accepts two correct answers (Diligence or Passion), since Achievement is formed from both Principles.
- Print out or bookmark the answer key above for a guaranteed pass on your first attempt.
- The mantra must be spoken in lowercase — just type "unorus" in normal chat while standing near the Shrine.
