Training Books

Schoolbooks for the studious adventurer — no materials required, just sweat and determination.

Overview
Location Britain Library (Favorites on the World Omniporter)
Skill Range 0 – 75
Study Time 3 seconds between attempts
Cost None (no materials consumed)

What Are Training Books?

The Training Books are a set of study materials located in the Britain Library, accessible through the Favorites menu on the portal system. They allow you to raise a wide variety of skills up to 75.0 without consuming any resources or crafting any items — just double-click the books, choose a skill, and study.

Each study session drains a small amount of Hit Points, Stamina, and Mana to represent the fatigue of intense study. You must remain near the books while training, and there is a short cooldown between attempts. After each attempt, the books will automatically reopen so you can continue training without interruption.

How To Use

  1. Travel to the Britain Library via the Favorites menu on the portal system.
  2. Double-click the Training Books.
  3. Select the skill you wish to study from the menu.
  4. Your character will study for a few seconds, then the menu reopens automatically.
  5. Repeat until you reach 75.0 in that skill.

Fatigue: Each study attempt drains 5 Hit Points, 5 Stamina, and 5 Mana. If your Hit Points are at or below 5, you will be told you are too weak to continue — heal up before resuming. Make sure to keep yourself fed and rested between sessions.

Note: This is the perfect time to train healing with bandages !!!.

Tips

Getting Started: The Training Books are the fastest way to get any of these skills off the ground. Train to 75 here, then switch to hands-on methods for the remaining gains to GM and beyond. Check the individual skill pages for guidance on training past 75.

Stay Healthy: Bring bandages or have healing magic ready. The fatigue cost is small per attempt, but over a long training session it adds up. A character with high hit point regeneration will be able to train with fewer interruptions.

AFK-Friendly: The gump reopens automatically after each study attempt, so you can train at your own pace. However, if you wander too far from the books or disconnect, the session will reset and the books become available again for other players.
