Player Backpack Increase Deeds

Overview

The Player Backpack Increase Deeds are permanent consumables that expand the storage limits of your personal backpack. These deeds allow you to carry more items or additional weight, making them essential for trading, crafting, and long-term inventory management. Both versions are available for purchase in the UOstore using Banes World Bucks.

Available Types

Two distinct deeds are offered on Banes World:

Backpack Max Item Increase Deed

Function:' Raises the maximum number of individual items your backpack can hold.
Increase Amount:' Adds 25 to your item cap per use [1].
Absolute Cap:' The total cumulative increase cannot exceed 1,000 items [1].

Backpack Max Weight Increase Deed

Function:' Raises the maximum weight your backpack can carry.
Increase Amount:' Adds 25 to your weight cap per use [2].
Absolute Cap:' The total cumulative increase cannot exceed 2,500 weight units [2].

How to Use

Place the deed directly inside your personal backpack.
Double-click the deed while it remains inside your backpack.
If you have not reached the respective hard cap, the deed will be consumed and your backpack's limit will permanently increase [1][2].
A system message will confirm the adjustment: "You have increased the Max Items/Weight cap of your backpack!" [1][2].

Important Mechanics & Limits

Container Requirement:' The deed must be stored inside your personal backpack to function. Attempting to use it from a bank box, vendor pack, or while held in your hands will trigger the prompt: "This must be in your backpack to use it." [1][2].
Cumulative Increases:' You can use multiple deeds sequentially until you reach the maximum threshold for that specific type.
Cap Reached:' Once the limit is met, attempting to use another deed will display: "The Max Items/Weight cap of your backpack cannot be increased any further!" [1][2].
Tooltip Information:' Hovering over the deed in-game will display exactly how much capacity it will add upon use [1][2].

Where to Purchase

These deeds can be acquired through the UOstore interface. Players may purchase them using Banes World Bucks, the server's premium currency. Check the store regularly for pricing updates and stock availability.

Notes & Troubleshooting

Increases are permanent, cumulative, and persist across server restarts and character transfers.
These deeds only modify your personal backpack. Bank boxes, vendor packs, and other containers retain their default limits.
If you believe you have reached the hard cap but still have room to grow, or if the deed fails to consume despite being in your backpack, please contact Staff for verification.
